MOWHEATO — $10
A perfect summer day is when the sun is shining, the breeze is blowing, and a Mowheato is in your hand. Inspired by an idea from our old brewer, Nik, comes this wheat gose-style ale based on the Mojito. Key lime juice, lime peel, mint, honey, and sea salt were muddled in a wheat base, which was soured and dry-hopped with Wai-iti hops. The resulting ale has a lime presence, followed by mint, and rounded out with a slightly salty and sour finish. (Original Plato: 14.5, ABV: 6.9%)
SMELT OF ELDERBERRIES — $10
Straight from the Holy Grail’s shrubbery comes Smelt of Elderberries. This fruity wheat ale contains over 15% of fresh elderberries per bottle. Belgian candi sugar and Bier de Garde yeast adds a subtle sweetness with a hint of spice. Have one today, become one of the “Knights who say ni!”, and join us on our trip to Camelot. “On second thought, let’s not go to Camelot. It is a silly place.” (Original Plato 16.4, ABV: 8.4%)
MAGI — $10
Just below the North Star, you’ll find the Magi, who are there to help you celebrate the holiday season. This red ale is spiced with frankincense and myrrh, which present a slightly piney flavor with hints of black pepper. The addition of the Indian jaggery balances the spices with flavors of buttery caramel and brown sugar. Finally, specks of real 24K gold were added to complete our gift to you. We hope you will find this to be pure magic and a wise choice. (Original Plato 16.3, ABV: 7.7%)
